Believe it or not, these flats are the same as the ones beneath. A more recent roofline and a few decades for trees to grow up make all the difference.
A roundabout has given way to more modern methods of traffic calming in these Then and Now pictures of Priory Court, in South Countess Road, Walthamstow. The trees were very much still in their infancy when the older image was taken in 1960.

The structures either side remain broadly the same but the building in the size has fundamentally changed in the 56 years since these two pictures were taken. This is Lea Bridge Road in Leyton.
The top image was captured in 1963 and the one beneath last year. Do you remember what happened to the original building?
