People can expect some hot September sun next week with temperatures set to climb as high as 27c.
The Met Office is predicting the warm weather for several areas in the East of England, including Hertfordshire and Essex.
The forecaster is saying that the rise in temperatures will start on Sunday and is set to last through to Wednesday.
Areas in and around Watford and Epping will see temperatures between 22c and 27c.
Temperatures will still remain warm by the end of the week although will drop to 20c.
Greater London is also predicted to see warm weather next week, with areas such as Barnet, Harrow and Enfield predicted to see temperatures reach as high as 27c.
Forecasting the weather for next week in the East of England, the Met Office said: “Largely dry, sunny and warm or hot with light winds through the week. A chance of early morning mist and fog patches.
“Wednesday may see outbreaks of rain or showers.”
It comes as the government banned social gatherings of more than six people in England, with the rule coming into force from Monday.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson said: “In England from Monday (September 14) we are introducing the rule of six.
“You must not meet socially in groups of more than six.
“And, if you do, you will be breaking the law.”
Regarding the six people rule, the Prime Minister said: “This will apply in any setting, indoors or outdoors, at home or in the pub.
“The ban will be set out in law and it will be enforced by the police – anyone breaking the rules risks being dispersed, fined and possibly arrested.
“This single measure replaces both the existing ban on gatherings of more than 30 and the current guidance on allowing two households to meet indoors. Now you only need to remember the rule of six.”
