A desperate pet owner has pleaded for people to keep an eye open for her much-loved cat who has been missing for three weeks.
Sidney the cat, who has been with his family for almost 10 years, has been missing from his home in Hillcrest Way, Epping, since September 8.
Owner Emma Cleverdon says she is "missing him terribly"and is desperate to bring him home.
Emma added that Sindey may have tried to return to their old home in The Plain, Epping, as the family had only recently moved to their new home in Hillcrest Way.
"Sidney is quite a big cat and he’s incredibly fluffy. He’s Ginger pretty much all over, except for his white paws and a white tuxedo under his neck. He’s also got slit in the top right ear where he caught it on something years ago", Emma said.
"He’s very friendly and affectionate and is a real part of our family. Even our 20 month old puppy Molly is missing him terribly. It’s not like him to go wondering off like this, although he is fairly streetwise."
Sidney, who was previously spotted a neighbour's garden in the Bower Hill area, is neutered and microchipped but he doesn’t have a collar.
If you see him please contact Emma on 07889488937.
