Hundreds of pounds of beauty items were stolen from an Asda in Harlow.

Detectives have issued images of two people wanted for questioning in connection with the incident on Wednesday, September 23.

Officers was called to reports of the theft of a number of beauty items worth a three-figure sum at about 2.30pm.

A man and woman made off without paying for them, Essex Police has said.

A spokesperson for the force added: “The man has been described as aged between 55-60 years old, of a stocky build.

“He was wearing a blue face mask, a stripy blue and grey polo shirt, black trousers and had a grey bag.

“The woman was around 50 years old, with dark hair pulled back and was wearing a white face mask, a black cardigan with a white t-shirt underneath, stripy trousers, black boots and was carrying a cream and black bag.
