Armed police were rushed to a block of flats after a woman suffered facial injuries during a dispute.
Hertfordshire Constabulary says it was called to the incident at Flanders Court in St Albans Road, Watford, yesterday (October 22) at 9.30am.
Around three firearms vehicles, five police cars and an ambulance attended - the force said a woman had suffered minor injuries to her face and head during a dispute with a neighbour.
Police said armed police were sent to the scene as it had been reported that a knife was witnessed during the incident.
However, there has been no evidence to substantiate this, police said.
Paramedics attended to the woman and she was taken to Watford General Hospital.
- A 35-year-old man from Watford was arrested on suspicion of assault after attending Watford Police Station and remains in custody.
