A fire broke out in an outbuilding of Falconer School.
Four fire engines rushed to Falconer School in Bushey today (October 23) at 11.40am, after reports of a fire in an outbuilding of the school.
Hertfordshire Fire and Rescue Service says everyone was accounted for safely, and crews successfully contained and extinguished the fire.
The main building of the school was not affected by the fire, as it took place near to The Bushey Youth and Community Centre.
As a result, the community centre will remain closed until Monday as the fire investigation team works to determine the cause of the fire.
Earlier today, the Herts Fire Control Twitter page warned others to avoid the area if possible as the fire was being tackled.
We are currently dealing with an incident on Falconer Road in Bushey. Please avoid the area if possible 🚒
