Mr McGough points out that the council would be penalised if it were a company
Under normal circumstances the audited financial statements of Epping Forest District Council for the year to 31 March 2020 would be published in September 2020 but because of Covid an extension has been granted until November 2020.
However as we enter March 2021 nothing as yet has appeared.
Why is this? If the council were a limited company there would be penalties for late compliance.
