A fire broke out near Loughton Golf Club.
Firefighters are tackling a fire affecting three outbuildings at England’s Lane, Loughton today (April 30) at 2.55pm.
Crews from Loughton, Waltham Abbey and Epping were called, and while not confirmed, it is believed that the fire is at the area of Loughton Golf Club.
Essex County Fire and Rescue says crews worked hard to establish a water supply in the remote location.
They found three single storey timber structures, approximately 20m x 20m, alight, as crews removed a number of gas cylinders.
Crews extinguished the fire by 4.36pm. An investigation will be carried out to establish the cause.
Station manager Dan Wastell said: "Crews worked incredibly hard to establish a water supply and get the fire quickly under control."
