A luxury SUV worth more than £40,000 was recovered by police just half an hour after it was reported stolen.
A Jaguar F-Pace was reported stolen from a home in Chigwell just before 2am this morning (Tuesday, June 8).
Essex Police officers from the local policing team and roads policing unit officers utilised automatic number plate recognition technology to locate the vehicle abandoned in Chigwell within 30 minutes.
The owner of the car – which retails at a starting price of £40,875 – was reunited with their vehicle.
Police enquiries continue to identify the individuals responsible for stealing the SUV.
