The Loughton Broadway Post Office is set to reopen next month.
The branch was shut down in October 2020 when the McColl's where the branch was based, closed.
The new location, just 120 metres down the road, is the M11 Local Store, at 16 The Broadway, Loughton.
Doors will be opened to customers on Thursday, July 22 at 1pm.
Samantha Coe, Post Office network provision lead, said: “We are delighted to be restoring a full-time Post Office to Loughton, as we know how important Post Office services are to a community.”
The opening hours are Monday – Saturday: 6am – 11pm; Sunday: 6am – 10pm. This will offer 118 hours of Post Office services a week, including late evening and weekend opening.
The branch will offer special delivery, local collect, home shopping returns, online banking cash deposits and withdrawals, withdrawals using a Post Office Card Account, Moneygram services, pre-order travel money, travel insurance and mobile phone top-ups.
The Post Office has also begun consultation on accessibility at the new branch
