CELEBRITIES and stars will be joining together to raise awareness for eating disorder charities in memory of TV star Nikki Grahame.

All the proceeds from tickets sales will raise money for SEED, the charity set up by Emmerdale actress Gemma Oaten, as well as BEAT Eating Disorders .

The event will take place at The Gallery Bar and Brassiere South Woodford on September 15.

There will be performances on the night will be from S Club 7, The Cheeky Girls, X Factor contestants Sam Callahan, Angie Brown, celebrity hypnotist Chris Hughes, celebrity magician Stephen Barry, and DJs Wayne T And Ross Mac.

Former Big Brother star Nikki Grahame died at the age of 38 in April.

The television personality was admitted to a private hospital in March with an eating disorder.

Grahame, originally from Northwood in north-west London, took part in the seventh series of Big Brother in 2006.

She became known for her tantrums, particularly in the Diary Room.

The event in aid of the charities will be hosted by Hollyoaks and Celebrity Big Brother star Paul Danan alongside Simon Gross and Charlie Doherty The night will also include celebrities Kieran Hayler, Chrissy Rock, Steve Bear, Caprice, Ester Dee, Alex Reid, Sandi Bogle, the cast of Towie and EastEnders and other household names.

Mr Gross said: “After the year we have had with Covid and we all need cheering up, but it was time to bring more awareness to anorexia and eating disorders.”

A spokesman for the charity Beat added: “We are incredibly grateful that Simon has chosen to support Beat.

“The past year has been incredibly challenging for many people affected by eating disorders, with demand for Beat’s services increasing by over 300 per cent. The reunion will be a fantastic event, and every penny raised will help us continue our vital work to support anyone in need of help.”

Grahame returned to the house in 2010 to take part in Ultimate Big Brother, the final series of the show to be broadcast on Channel 4.
