A charity is working with Epping Community Hub to provide a weekly 'one stop shop' information point for all available council and local community services.

Voluntary Action Epping Forest will be at the Epping Community Hub, based at the Epping Forest District Council offices, on Mondays from 11.15am to 4.30pm and Wednesdays from 10am to 1.30pm.

On Mondays, there will be a focus on volunteering, with experts available to discuss opportunities for both organisations and volunteers. VAEF welcomes people to pop in and discuss any volunteering requirements.

At the Epping Community Hub on Wednesdays, there will be representatives from the United in Kind organisation to discuss their community response offering.

Any VAEF or United in Kind staff can take referrals for requests for help with shopping and prescription delivery (if you are isolating due to Covid), information on accessing vaccines, digital support and how to access benefit advice.

Other partner organisations will be available at the Community Hub on different days, although people will be able to enquire about any of the VAEF services every day. These include:

Adult Social Care – an Essex County Council service
