An armed robber threatened staff at a dental clinic before making off with cash.
Essex Police says it is investigating the robbery which took place in High Road in Loughton at 5.05pm on Friday October 29.
It was reported to police a man wearing a balaclava went inside Tooth Club dentist armed with what has been described as " large knife".
He is said to have then demanded cash and made off with a four-figure sum of cash.
Detectives have launched an appeal for any witnesses or anyone with any information to come forward.
