SOUTHEND has one ofthe highest number of complaining Karen’s in the UK, new data has revealed.
Since emerging in 2019 as an internet pop-cult meme, a “Karen”
has become synonymous with demanding to speak to managers, complaining and an unearned sense of self-importance.
A new study revealed which UK city was home to the highest level of complainers.

After analysing over 1 million Trustpilot reviews to find out who the most common complainers really are and where they live - it was found that Southend is home more10,000 people named Karen.
Southend appears seventh on the list of UK cities with the highest number of complaining Karen’s.
The city has 10,685 Karen’s, making it the 24th most popular name in Southend.
