The train is ready.

The volunteers of the Epping Ongar Railway are expecting the tickets to “quickly sell out” and prove popular among train lovers.

Dean Walton, general manager, said: “The train is ready, and there are only a few tickets available for the first weekend of our Epping Ongar Light Fantastic experience.

“We are so lucky to have the volunteers of the railway working hard to bring such a fantastic event to our passengers.

We have built on the success of last year’s Light Fantastic and are delighted that the public are buying tickets for this event.”

The Epping Ongar “Light Fantastic” starts on Friday, November 19 and runs on selected dates until January 9, 2022.
