A man has been pronounced dead in Buckhurst Hill after a heavy police presence was seen this morning (Tuesday).
Emergency services were called to concerns for a man’s welfare in Forest Edge at around 10.40am, an Essex Police spokesperson confirmed.
He was pronounced dead at the scene and the death is being treated as non-suspicious, they added.
A file is being prepared for the coroner.
Photos circulating online show several police cars parked up and a forensics team was also reportedly present.
