Celebrity chef Rosemary Shrager has described the meal she had at a Loughton favourite as "simply spectacular".

Shrager, who has starred on shows including Cooking With the Stars, The Real Marigold Hotel and I’m A Celebrity, paid a visit to Tom, Dick, and Harry's restaurant in High Road.

After sampling a range of dishes and eating and drinking with friends, Shrager also showed off her culinary skills by making olive oil bread.

Epping Forest Guardian:

Speaking about her time at the eatery, the chef said: "This is without a doubt the best restaurant I have ever been to, the food is simply spectacular, exceptional - the atmosphere, staff and service are all impeccable and I can’t wait to come back again."

Tom, Dick, and Harry's owner Lee Newton added: "Rosemary has been begging me to open one in her hometown."
