The NHS in Epping Forest is urging everyone to get vaccinated during the World Cup.

The Hertfordshire and west Essex integrated Care Board is making it easier for people to get a vaccine before joining crowded celebrations.

In Epping Forest GP practices and seven pharmacies are offering the jab.

Waltham Abbey Scout Hut will also be giving out boosters from 9.30 am to 12pm on November 24.

Care board CEO Dr Jane Halpin said: “We are making it easier than ever for people to book Covid and flu jabs at dozens of sites and pop-up clinics across the Hertfordshire and west Essex through the NHS website or by calling 119.

"So don’t score an own goal this World Cup, take a shot now so you can enjoy the football."
