A BOXING academy has partnered with Find Your Active Essex to provide 50 children with free boxing classes.
Loughton-based Dennis and Dyer has partnered with Find Your Active Essex to provide children from schools with free boxing classes, taking place between February and May.
With a focus on positively impacting younger members of the community through fitness and boxing sessions, the academy has formed partnerships with over six schools over the last 18 months, including Roding Valley and Debden Park.
In launching this new scheme, children from Essex-based schools can attend two free weekly classes.
Available on a first-come, first-served basis, the classes are suitable for children of all abilities and have been created to show young people the mental and physical benefits of boxing.
Marc Dennis, the co-founder of Dennis and Dyer Boxing Academy, said: "Having worked with several schools in recent months, we have seen first-hand the positive impact our fitness and boxing sessions have had on young people of all ages.
"With all sessions fully funded, we anticipate that all places will be filled quickly and, therefore, urge interested parents to get in touch and submit applications sooner rather than later to avoid disappointment."
