On the far left is the Loughton cinema showing a western from 1948 staring Dick Powell and Jane Greer.
The town’s third post office (built c1931) can be seen in the middle distance.
It is now called ‘The Last Post’ and part of a famous pub chain that is earmarked to close soon.
