These photographs of Kings Head Hill in Chingford are taken around 112 years apart.
Holly House was once occupied by Arthur Sheldon in the 1890s.
Arthur made his money as a silk merchant and owned a steam car. The house is lost from maps just after the Second World War as the Drysdale estate was being completed.

Today Enterprise House (built 1968) sits close to the site of Holly House. One of a number of fine houses lost in Chingford over the last century.
