Temporary traffic signals will be in place as “major” roadworks are planned for a junction with a history of crashes.
From Monday (January 8) to January 20, preparatory roadworks will be underway at the junction between Graveley Road and North Road, between Stevenage and Graveley.
While work is being carried out at the T-junction, between 9am and 4.30pm Monday to Saturday, temporary traffic signals will be in operation.

Trees will be cut back or removed to make way for the main works, which will then take place between February 17 and the end of May.
The scheme aims to improve road safety and visibility by installing new signals, street lighting, and high friction road surfacing.
Hertfordshire County Council said: “This is a road safety scheme to address a longstanding issue with collisions.
“We need to ensure that the illumination from the new street lighting reaches both the footway and the road, in order to improve safety, not just at the junction but also on its approaches.”
The new signals will be installed on all three sides of the junction, including new pedestrian crossing provision across the mouth of North Road.
