A man has admitted stealing more than £2.500 worth of groceries from a High Street supermarket.
Matthew Nardolilli, 38, of Tanys Dell, Harlow, stole meat, alcohol, washing products, wine and soft drinks worth £2,712.20 on 21 occasions from the Co-op store in Old Harlow High Street between December 18 and February 11, a court heard.
Nardolilli admitted 21 counts of shop theft and a single charge of threatening to cause criminal damage to a mobile phone at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court on February 14.
He was remanded on conditional bail and will appear before Basildon magistrates on April 19 for sentencing.
