Motorists have been warned against attending an event in Stevenage that could breach of an injunction.
This morning (March 29), Herts Police confirmed that they are aware of an event being planned for a road in the town tomorrow.
“This may be in breach of the local injunction prohibiting car meets, which are defined as the gathering of two or more cars,” the force said.

“Residents are therefore advised against attending. Our priority is to ensure the safety of the public, and local officers are aware of the situation.”
An injunction to ban car cruising in Stevenage, with a power of arrest attached, was granted on February 6, last year, and will be in place until 2028.
It followed a crash during a car cruise in Monkswood Way that saw 19 people injured in July 2019.
Two men - Dominic Brown, 21, from St Albans, and Julian Castano-Perez, 21, from Dunmow in Essex - were jailed for five and four years respectively after pleading guilty to serious injury by dangerous driving, and wanton/furious driving.
Stevenage Borough Council was originally granted a two-year temporary injunction in 2020, before it was extended.
