O’s duo Macauley Bonne and Ebou Adams have earned respective call-ups to the Zimbabwe and Gambia squads for their upcoming international fixtures.
Bonne, who has scored 18 goals for the O’s in all competitions this season, has been called up to the Zimbabwe squad for the Four Nations’ Tournament which will take place later on this month.
Zimbabwe will face Zambia in a semi-final on the 22nd March, with the winner then taking part in the final three days later. The loser of the semi-final tie will then feature in a third place play off on the 25th March too.
Elsewhere, Ebou Adams will be bidding to pick up his second international cap, after being called up to the Gambia squad which will face Algeria in a friendly on the 24th March.
Adams made his international debut back in November and has impressed for the O’s since joining on loan from Norwich City in January, making eight appearances so far.
The news means that both players will miss Orient’s National League tie against Woking at Brisbane Road on the 24th March.
