Jordan Maguire-Drew said he had no hesitation in joining Leyton Orient to help their promotion push.

The 21-year-old winger moves from Brighton & Hove Albion on a two-and-a-half-year deal and could make his debut in Saturday’s top-of-the-table clash with Salford City at the Breyer Group Stadium.

The O’s have been looking to strengthen their options following James Dayton’s injury and Maguire-Drew moves to the Breyer Group Stadium having been recalled by the Seagulls from what had been a season-long loan with Wrexham where he scored three goals in 17 appearances.

Maguire-Drew, who also enjoyed a highly successful spell at Dagenham & Redbridge in the 2016/17 season, told the O’s website: "I got a call from my agent saying Orient wanted to sign me and I said, 'get it done' straight away. It's a great club to be at, it's a club on the up and I want to be part of the success here.

"I like to get supporters off their seats, I like trying to make things happen, score goals, create goals, get the team up the pitch as much as I can when I get the ball."
