Leyton Orient are understood to have rejected a bid of around £300,000 for Josh Koroma from League One side Sunderland.
Orient, though, have turned down the bid as they aim to keep hold of the promising young forward who has nine National League goals so far this season.
The Black Cats are in the market for a new striker after their own starlet, Josh Maja, left the club to sign a four-and-a-half year deal with Bordeaux for an undisclosed fee.
The O’s are yet to make any signings on deadline day, but have brought in Jordan Maguire-Drew and Jamie Turley so far this transfer window.
