Waltham Forest Hockey Club will begin hosting beginner courses for adults next month.
Waltham Forest Hockey Club are hosting Adult Beginner Courses (ABC’s) open to all ages and abilities.
The courses are free of charge – with sticks provided too - and are suitable for anyone either aiming to get back into hockey or anybody trying it for the first time.
ABC’s will be held on the astroturf at Walthamstow Academy on Billet Road on Thursday, August 15, Thursday, August 22, Thursday, August 29 and Thursday, September 5.
The sessions are part of a large summer programme for the club that has included mens and womens’ teams playing in summer leagues as well as an under-14 girls’ side reaching the London Youth Games finals.
