Leyton Orient defender Dan Happe has signed a new one-year extension to his contract, keeping him at the club until 2021.

The 20-year-old academy graduate has made 67 appearances for the club so far in his career.

As well as winning the club's Young Player of the Season award on two occasions, Happe also scooped the Player of the Month awards for January, February and March earlier in 2019, the same period in which he scored the late winner against Brackley Town in the FA Trophy quarter-final.

Happe told the club website: “I am delighted to sign my new contract, I thought it was the right thing to do at my age and hopefully I can kick-on here.”

“This is a club that means an awful lot to me, they gave me an opportunity at such a young age so I glad to be able to repay the faith by staying here. I have known Ross [Embleton] for a while now and I feel I have a good connection with him so I am looking forward to continuing to improve under him.”
